my hamster just bit my finger really knotty and broke the skin far. it has be bleeding for awhile, but finally stopped. now what? what should i put on it? gratitude!What do you put contained by a adjectives hamster bite?
Wash the area beside soap and water and cover the bite beside a polysporin ointment and strip aid. Watch the bite for signs of infection (redness, swelling, pus draining from the wound,..)
At least hamsters enjoy short teeth.
if you haven't had a tetnis shot contained by the last 10 years you entail to go to the hospital and seize one! My gerbil vampired my thumb when I was 13 and man I relate ya that hurts. But the shot.. get it if needed. Possible stitch too, draw from it looked at.

Any bad puncture wound should be looked at by a medical doctor, as you inevitability tetanus shot, and shots to prevent infections. Punctures are the worst kind of skin mischief for deep infections of any loving. Good luck.
