google it or ask your PT or DR. It is the softening of the articular cartilage under the kneecap due to maltracking of kneecap and inturn cause too much unbalanced pressure.
A corrosion of the cartilage. The specific name manner softening of the cartilage. Usually will see the name associated near under the kneecap contained by chondromalacia patellae.
