What is a Night Splint?

I have Plantar Fasciitis an I am going to necessitate a special Night Splint. What is it and What does it Do?What is a Night Splint?
I have Plantar Fascitis too . . . I'm in truth having the Plantar Release surgery on Thursday . . . I never have the night splint, but vitally it keeps the foot still and the plantar surrounded by a position that relieves the pressure.
Good luck! I completely understand how bloody it is . . .
It is a splint you will wear to bed. Not sure what it will do but I would assume it will hold your foot in a special position.
