Sicko is and will own a strong impact on the health effort reform debate and movement surrounded by the US. One problem we have face for years is that health trouble has not be on the national agenda of the President or Congress. The press has also unseen the issue. Sicko is helping elevate the broken health thoroughness system in the US. Twenty minutes on Oprah for Sicko next to 30 million viewers is an incredible amount of free press. The fact that Big Pharma and the Insurance companies are banding together to publicly try to discredit Sicko tell you they are fearful. If Sicko was ineffective they would rebuff it.
Also some good report is that many Presidential candidate are discussing health concern system change. This will become a intermediate issue in the solicit votes. Our first chance for reshuffle will be January 2009 when a new Congress and New President convene within DC.
In the meantime all of us citizens and activist have to press for national vigour care reorder. Sicko is just one accomplishment on the stage that needs to be built on.
I hear it got rave reviews...but I really know nil about it. What's it almost besides healthcare?

Haven't see it bbut it will most likely fashion an impact from what I am hearing..
I don't ponder it will make a difference, because some citizens already know how really bad the robustness care system is, but it is apt to see a documentary on things that some people may not be aware of and SICKO does lately that. It is going to be even harder to get some ancestors to understand the doc. simply because they "don't like" Michael Moore. That's elementary to me.
